Curator's Notes 

I love a matte glaze, especially one that begs to be held. Sue Binns has done just that with her charming blue striped coffee mugs. She has also considered day-to-day functionality by making the interior of the mug glazed to avoid staining, without being overwhelmingly glossy. We use these cups almost everyday and selecting which cup will be the ‘stripe of the day’ is a simple joy every morning. Each striped pattern expresses so much personality!
